What you will own
- Coordinate internal operational workflows across payroll, finance, HR operations, and customer success teams.
- Track payment requests, payroll-related handoffs, finance inputs, approvals, and operational deadlines to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Maintain internal trackers, recurring task lists, SOPs, process notes, and handoff documentation for operating routines.
- Support issue resolution by gathering context, confirming owners, following up on blockers, and keeping internal stakeholders aligned.
- Review operational data for inconsistencies and help improve control points around payment tracking, finance coordination, and workflow completion.
- Suggest process improvements that reduce repeated manual work, unclear ownership, or fragmented communication.
What you will bring
- Experience in operations coordination, business operations, finance operations, payroll support, HR operations, or similar internal delivery work.
- Strong comfort with trackers, spreadsheets, documentation, recurring deadlines, and multi-step workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and a reliable habit of confirming status, owners, dates, and next actions.
- Professional English communication and the ability to write concise internal updates.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while keeping stakeholders informed.
- Availability aligned to APAC operating hours and recurring finance, payroll, and operations deadlines.
Market and language fit
- Based in South Korea, with remote working hours aligned to APAC operating routines.
- Professional written English is required for internal updates, documentation, and cross-functional handoffs.
- Korean fluency is required for local documentation, stakeholder follow-up, and Korea-market operating details.
- Mandarin Chinese or Japanese is a plus for broader APAC coordination.
